    r1965 two bugs

The squelch categories don't show all of the items that my character knows about. For example, the squelch Scrolls list only shows the one type of scroll in my inventory plus all the unknown ones. I can't unsquelch anything.

Also in r1965, when viewing a weapon of extra attacks in the black market, the text description says it increases weapon speed by 1, but the blow calculations say 1 blow.

Sorry if these are known bugs. I was gone for a week.

I must have introduced the squelch bugs recently. I wonder why I didn't notice. Are you playing with a virgin savefile? For reasons I will never understand, you have to worry about whether you have seen a flavor previously using the given savefile before you can set it to squelch.

In the mean time, can you get what you need done through the object knowledge menu? After you unsquelch, you may need to do something to redraw the screen to see a just-unsquelched object. This last bug I knew about.

Wrong description of +attacks weapons in stores has been known for some time, but I suppose it is possible it was fixed and something I did recently made it worse. Does it still say something like "with +0 str and +0 dex you would get 2 blows"?

Oh - one more thing - do you have squelch_worthless set? It doesn't matter whether a worthless item flavor is specifically marked to squelch if you set that option.

It does indeed say that part about "+0 STR and +0 DEX would give you 2 blows". I'll try the knowledge menu trick; I never knew about that avenue. And this is not with a virgin save file, I made it with r1963.

I do have squelch worthless set, but the issue I'm seeing is most recently with ?ID, which I set to squelch when I got the spell, but then wanted to unsquelch. But it also happens with any other item I have squelched that are useful (like accidentally squelching a !RestoreDex after it moved around in my pack).

Good. The +attacks is how it always was, so hopefully not my fault.

I figured out the squelch problem, and it is quite serious. You are not learning everseen status when you see a flavor not seen by your ancestors in the given savefile. I must have screwed that up when I redid things for squelch_worthless.

I managed to squelch and unsquelch ?phase through the object knowledge menu even though it was not listed in the squelch menu, so hopefully that is a workaround until I figure what went wrong.

Be warned that any flavors you learned or will learn this game before the bugfix may not count as everseen at the start of your next game.

PowerDiver's patch is checked into HEAD as r1966.
