    Hopefully r1965 fixes the problem.

I played with it for a while and seems like it is all fixed.

        A couple possibilities: smack(x2), slay(x3), smite(x5) or slay(x2), smite(x3), blast(x5)
I like slay(x2) smite(x3) and blast(x5) but I would be ok with wound(x2) or hurt(x2). I think missiles could easily use the same verbs.

While you're at it, can I suggest changing the monster's 'miss' verb when it would have hit you if your AC had been substantially lower? Ie it should indicate that your armour protected you...
