Supporting old Windows versions for future versions of Angband

Currently, Angband supports Windows XP or newer versions of Windows. Would anyone be inconvenienced if it only supported Windows Vista or newer?

Well I would be inconvenienced as my gaming PC still runs Windows XP, except I'm not actually interested in playing vanilla; variants all the way
Author of Angband variant ToME-SX (based on ToME 2.3.5): https://github.com/AmyBSOD/ToME-SX - it's very sexy!

I like having the code still support old machines but I see no need to build for any system that isn't expressly requested by enough people that the maintainer feels it is a good idea to include it.
that said, I have added big memory hog things too the borg that would make supporting an old low mem machine a bit of a challenge. If someone wanted me to condition things and make the borg slower and stupider conditionally on being on an old box, I could probably do it.
