I think someone asked this question somewhere, but I couldn't remember what the answer was. What's the lowest level character with which anyone has ever defeated Morgoth, fair and square?

I think I got him at CL 38 or 39 once, not sure.
Here's a CL 41 winner I posted. I don't know what CL he was when the fight started. http://angband.oook.cz/ladder-show.php?id=8072 I don't know if it counts as fair and square. That was modded code. It was based off of 3.0.9, but the ef3 in the version name means that it had a substantial amount of ID-by-use built in and jewelry pseudoed. Also, I think disallowing selling to stores was hardcoded, and gold drops were increased by something like (100-DL)*3%.
I tried to search for Cliff Stamp's winners, but couldn't figure out how to do it.
