    is a win possible around char lvl 43?

    This game i've been quite lucky, finding aeglos REALLY early on, plus good artifacts & items at a steady pace;

    I'm at clvl 43, and my equip is already good for the final fight (at least i think so, suggestions?); maybe a bit short on consumables, but on my other two wins i always had loads left after the big fights, and considering i have 3 renewable heal activations, i'm pretty well set up

    notable uniques left to kill are omarax, qlfkhbgtkskn, tarrasque, i think that's it

    the question is, am i ready to go or should i level up a bit more for more hp / better saves / maybe finding more elven rings / etc ?

    thanks for the help, i may be able to win under 500k (here's hoping of not having jinxed it lol )

    EDIT: i was stupid enough to get all my staves of banishment and destruction burned by the tarrasque's fire breath, after not dropping them far away enough ... and i still wasn't able to kill him ...

    Your speed is a bit low. +20 is preferred, but I guess it isn't exactly necessary vs Sauron. Also, if you are planning to melee Sauron, do you plan to use a ring of acid?

    If you are asking whether you are ready to kill Sauron, you should post a dump outfitted precisely the way you plan to do it.

      You'll have no trouble winning in 500k turns. The question is how much less it will take... And you can kill Sauron easily. Just use full buffing (chant+hero+berserk). You don't need to worry about the uniques too much-the really bad ones come with an entourage if undead or dragons

            If you never lose the final fight, you are going too slowly, assuming you are aiming for low turncount. Perhaps the mistake was subtle, that after a previous phase-and-heal you went the wrong way while setting up the next attack on M. Or perhaps you should have phased a few times earlier to get the chance to teleport other on big breathers.

            It may simply have been that you were unlucky. Bad luck happens.

            The possibility of death at any point in the game makes the wins that much sweeter. Keep playing like a crazy person!
