Found a pseudo-id bug.. i think.

I was playing tonight and found a short bow on the ground. So I grabbed it walked a little way, and when it pseudo-id'd it gave me the full name of the item. I've never seen it do that before but I don't think it's supposed to do that. Here's a pic of my screen, I use 3.1.1 dev.

I can't really see what's going on with your image, but if the ego is accuracy or power the egos do nothing, so there is nothing to learn, so you get the ego on pseudo.

Yeah, I've mentioned this before. You get a message like "You feel the Long Bow of Accuracy in your pack is magical." And you think, what Long Bow of Accuracy???

A better message would be something like "You feel the Long Bow in your pack is a Long Bow of Accuracy."

Another bug is that if you tell the new (annoying) squelch question that pops up every single time you want to destroy an item to ignore bad rings in the future, you see things like "a Ruby Ring {squelch}" lying on the dungeon floor. Before you even know that ruby rings are rings of dexterity (or whatever) and before you ID it as -3, the game tells you it's bad.

First off, Lauren Mountain and Kasey Regi are cuties, and wtf did you do to yourself to require 10 staples in your head? o_X

lol, I use to work with those ladies at fridays. My wife saw that pic and was pissed As for the staples in the head, I got in a car accident and took out the rear view mirror with my head. It actually didn't hurt that bad but it bled like crazy.

That's a definite bug. I thought I fixed it a long time ago, but maybe that never got committed. What version are you playing?

Only the most serious bugfixes get backported to the 3.1.1 series, so that bug there is inconclusive. Has anyone seen this in 3.1.2?
