pseudo ID and learning by using

    Hello

pseudo identify needs to be tweaked so that it is not repeating what
    you already learned by using.

    Some examples:
I had a unidenified dagger - I whacked an orc with it and find out it is a
dagger (+0,+0). I leave it in my inventory.
Several turns later, it ids and I get a message: You have a dagger (+0,+0).

Also, if it turned out to be a dagger (+5,+4), then later I get
You feel the dagger is magical......

Those messages should likely be suppressed - I only care if the item
is excellent and has an ego I don't know about yet.

IMO if ID-by-use is done properly, we won't need pseudo at all. (Instant pseudo for high-level warriors and rogues, maybe.)

I disagree. You have gained the info that they are *not* excellent. If you drop rather than squelch such things, you are better off being informed with the knowledge.
