    I wrote a patch for linear stats display too. (attachment)
    Anyone who prefers it can try this patch.

    Both the linear stats and the metric patch only change the display, so game-play or save-file shouldn't be affected.
    (This patch is not for linear effects by stats.)

      What's the point zero for on the stats? There aren't actually fractional stats, are there?
      You read the scroll labeled NOBIMUS UPSCOTI...
      You are surrounded by a stasis field!
      The tengu tries to teleport, but fails!

        You can see the third screenshot in my previous post on April 18 in this thread.
        WIS is 18/46, which corresponds to 22.6 in the linear display.

            Thanks for the patch!

            One thing I noticed, isn't linval just 180 + bonus? You had a whole thing going on which was more complicated but which (I think) always evaluated to the same thing.
