Damage done by Staff of Holiness / Dispel Evil / Power

The description for these only says "damages monsters in line of sight" but not how much damage is actually done? Is it a fixed amount, or a range, or a percentage of each monster's HP?

Would be really helpful to know how useful they are. Most other rods/wands/spells/weapons/etc give damage numbers.

I don't have too much to say here but I can offer this.

I don't use those staves because I haven't found a way to make their damage output worth it. Generally, if a monster is easy enough, then defeating 100 of them is no harder than defeating one. And these staves for me do significant damage only to monsters I could defeat through melee.

Find a creature with medium XP as a benchmark and do some experiments.

Looking up the datafile tells me 60 for Dispel Evil, 120 for Holiness/Power.
