Corrupted SP in ranger started in 4.2.0?

I'm playing a Dunadan ranger, started in 4.2.0, and I've noticed that my spellpoints seem not to be increasing with levels, but instead seem to actually be decreasing. I'm sure this is not all accountable to being encumbered. I did lose a bit of INT to the stat gain/loss potions, but if I put on a cap of +2 INT, wield Nar-i-Vagil, get up over 18 INT, my SP doesn't seem to move. I definitely remember it was at least 24 at one point I think in the mid-20's clev, as I started casting Create Arrows

The thing is, there was a point earlier where I could cast Create Arrows (20 mana), then a time when I couldn't. I have the distinct impression that my SP have been stagnant or even moving backwards with level gains.

Is there any way to diagnose this? I've recently moved to 4.2.3 but the SP seems stuck at around 20.

Also is there an updated Class guide? From what I read, ranger now gets shooting bonus/shoot speed bonus with *all* launchers, not just bows?

4.2 rangers use WIS a their spellcasting stat not INT, which explains your problem.

Rangers do now get bonuses with all launchers; this came in shortly before 4.2.3, so you should be getting it now.

Thanks for clearing that up. Just died to Gorlim, 3 raw mana bolts in a row, doh.
