Book Weights

Quick modding question:

How do you edit the book weights? They are 3.0 pounds and I think they should be 2.0 pounds. I edit all the other weights no problem, but can't find the books!

Excellent question

They're actually hard-coded in write_book_kind() in init.c. This is really not great; they should probably be in object_base.txt.

I reduce the weights of a lot of things logically such as scrolls, potions, and wands so a mage-type is not so frustrating to play, but needed that finishing touch on books
