
Actually is there a log file to see what has changed in previous versions?
You still have to pay attention, but it is particularly galling to physically walk into a monster that you knew was there (as opposed to walking into a room with a monster that spots you, or being trapped in a corridor etc).
On another note, I've noticed that one less point of dex at the start and putting the rest into strength/con makes the stealth game much harder at the start. I wouldn't think 1 point less would make a lot of difference, but it does.
