    classic moria level generation

    I am working on a variant. I have no github account and no knowledge how / what code to pull. I would like to take a look at how the classic moria dungeon levels are generated.

    Would anyone please post the code here (if it doesn't encompass too many line), thanks!

    You don't need an account to do a lot of things on GitHub. You can browse the source online at https://github.com/angband/angband/tree/master/src

    Specifically I think the code you're looking for is gen-cave.c here: https://github.com/angband/angband/b...src/gen-cave.c. I would start with the moria_gen and moria_chunk functions. The file is about 3000 lines, so I'll let you decide if that's too many.

    It's pretty easy to clone the repo if you have a git client (does not require a GitHub account) or you can download a source zip archive at https://github.com/angband/angband/a...ads/master.zip

      thank you for posting the links and some kind of "basic instructions"

      and 3000 lines are too much to post them here in the forum ...

          People write chatbots meaning for them to spam, but its usually just nonsense. Maybe they want to appear like a real person before they start spamming? Not sure, but ban them anyway

            Sadly yes, although it does kind of remind me of a joke.
            Q: How many surrealists does it take to change a light bulb?
            A: Two; one to hold the armadillo, and one to fill the bathtub with brightly-coloured bicycles.

              @emulord--
              I didn't see how it was spam because there were no links in the text, and no links in the personal info.

                On another (phpbb) forum I moderate, I have seen recently a trend with users sending a first message without any obvious sign of spam (possibly to get the user 'verified'?), and then later on a second message with the payload.
