Crash when picking up an object

    OS: Linux, Fedora 25
    Angband version: 67b8ce2 https://github.com/angband/angband/t...f2f45822d59b0b
    Error message in the terminal:
    Code:
    angband: obj-pile.c:136: pile_excise: Assertion `pile_contains(*pile, obj)' failed.
    ./angband: software bug
I built the game from the source I downloaded from GitHub yesterday. I was playing it and everything was working fine, but then the game crashed with this message. I loaded the game back up, it started from where it crashed and it didn't crash again yet. It is possible that some items weren't saved and I didn't notice it.
Attached is my save file. I didn't manage to find any crash logs.

I like valgrind. it's the biggest timesaver people invented since the invention of the wheel.
UBSan&ASan are even better (no noticeable initialization delay on my machine).
I'm now playing with it on. WARNING: with UBSan&ASan panic saves don't seam to work.

OK, thanks - there was a lot going on there. It looks like you had just test-read a scroll of Darkness, which blinded you. Did you have those scrolls set to autoinscribe, or to ignore, or both?

Before reading unknown scrolls and quaffing unknown potions I autoinscribe them with "good?" so I can remember if I already tried them and nothing happened. I didn't have it set to ignore. The last command I typed was g (grab).

Hm, looks like some sort of bug in dropping. I don't think I can determine what from the savefile, but I'll keep it in mind.
