    But isn't that why the knowledge menu was invented?

    Btw, I think we should definitely ship a standard Angband unicode font (or set of, if it's not scalable). Relying on all the systems we want to support having compatible fonts is asking for trouble.

      I find the / recall system very cumbersome now anyway. If it isn't an entry you can access via looking, then there is endless next-ing and is very easy to go past the entry you want, especially for common characters. If adding new characters meant revising this system (and possibly in a more new-player friendly way), so much the better. I only have vague ideas of what a new recall interface could look like, but I'd have to think anything would be an improvement.

        I think that really the knowledge menus pretty much replace the '/' recall function.
