Bug while trying to switch weapons

I inscribed my newly bought shovel with '@x', then I hit shift-x, which crashed Angband.

    Version 3.2

(it's reproducable, can attach savegame if wanted)

Please do, because I cannot reproduce this. Shift-x simply asks me "wear/wield which item?" and correctly ignores the @x inscription.

Please also say which platform you're playing on. Windows?

I can reproduce this in 3.2.0 on windows and linux.
      But not in master.

So Raggy can you try if you can reproduce this in the nightlies?

Sure if you point me to a download link, the one above here doesn't show versions after 3.2.0

eh, how can I then test this bug with my savefile?

Thank you. First I will debug the loading of this savefile - *then* I will look at the inscription crash!

By making a new character, inscribing the starting weapon, and watching it crash. Or not.

Magnate: The same message (No object: 75:18 (potion) No object: 75:20 (potion) -more- ) , appears always if I try to import a character from 3.2. into current. It doesn't hang though normally.

The message is not connected to the crash. The crash is about a ring of the Mouse which doesn't have a pval flag set properly. I have a fix that looks fine in code but doesn't actually work - trying to debug it now.

I tried that, but no, didnt crash.

Situation was: had non inscribed weapon in hand, inscribed shovel in inventory with '@x', hit shift-x

Tried to reproduce that with the nighly, however couldnt find a shovel. Didnt crash with a dagger at least.

I'll try again when I can load the savegame.

                            How strange.
I just tried this (I am out of town):
Installed 3.2. on my mom's laptop.
                            Started the game
                            clicked new
                            hit enter lot's of times
                            inscriped my starting sword @x
                            hit X
                            it crashed.

I believe that this bug is the same as trac ticket #1330, which has been fixed in the development branch. Magnate is working on a fix for the bug that prevents this savefile from loading in the development branch.
