Apologies: I'm totally new here and have no idea if this has already been reported or fixed.
You seem to be able to get "free" movement while targeting a spell - that is, you can move while the monsters do nothing.
Repro:
Get a monster onscreen so you can judge the passage of time (or maybe there's a debug mode for this?)
invoke a targetable spell (magic missile)
Press *
Press p
Move the cursor one space away from you
Press g
Results:
You move to that spot while the monsters do nothing. The targeting prompt is still active and the message window shows "Illegal aim direction!"
I couldn't find documentation on the 'g' command in targeting mode anywhere, so I assume it's a new feature.
