I thought I should make a public note of the fact I'm not going to have as much time for Angband over the next few months as I have in the past. I don't anticipate spending much time on the game until maybe December, and I'm not sure how long this situation will last. I'm not done with the game yet, though.
There are clearly gameplay issues in 3.1.1. I am happy to encourage and provide infrastructure for anyone who wants to have a stab at fixing them. One way of doing this would be to make a patched version, which you could do in the "official" subversion repository on a branch, or just modify the code locally and I'll be happy to host such patched versions and work with you on merging them with the main code if they work. I don't have the time to get my head back into "thinking about coding Angband" space for a while, but I would like to encourage people who are interested to have a go.
At the moment I am not really reading the forums, so I've probably missed a few bugs. Apologies. If you need to make sure that something comes to my attention, email me (andi@takkaria.org).
