r1580 crash bug

When I go to the 'C'haracter screen and hit space bar, it crashes out the game with no error code every time. I normally use these keys to quickly display my resists.

In using 1580 on a Linux box and space works fine on the 'C' screen.

I get this error hitting either space or h in both 3.1.1.1577 and 3.1.1.1599. The weird thing is, it's not a consistent error.

Sometimes I just have to open Angband, load my savefile, hit 'C' and then space or h to make it crash.

And most of the time it works just fine until after I forget there's a bug, adventure for half an hour, get a new piece of equipment, go to the character screen to check my resists and boom, crash.

I can provide my savefile as well, but as I said, sometimes no matter what I do, it won't crash until I'm not paying attention ;P

Happens to me also

On Vista 32 bit premium. I get this error on a regular basis using both the space bar and h.

This bug still happens on build 1611. Still doesn't happen all the time, but it's rather annoying. I'll probably end up running angband from the source inside Visual Studio 2008 to catch it with the debugger.

I'll report back if I can find anything
