Competition 129 is now available from the competition page; it is a Sil Sindar of Doriath.

Some advice from Scatha:

• I've left 1,000 exp to let the player customise a little at the start. For example a third Song, or a bit of Smithing or Stealth
• I've given Daeron a little more starting equipment than usual. The most interesting piece is the Shadow Cloak, which I think is fun at the start with the Song of the Trees

Thanks Nick. You can probably remove that 'advice', or at least the third point; it was mostly meant as commentary to you and half in case we wanted to change the character -- players have no way to change their stats, for example.

Something has gone mildly wrong with the competition sorting; clouded's two characters are in the wrong order. Is there perhaps a division by turn count or something?

Yes, that's a definite - the ladder is not sorting correctly.

It's unusual to have quite that many dumps in the first 24 hours, but I guess that's just Sil...

I'll have to play this one a little more before entering the competition. It looks very cool, but rather different strategy than the 'bands I am used to.
