Competition 127 is now available from the competition page; it is a Quickband Gnome Mage.

Note that comp 126 has a bit under a day to go (and good luck catching the leader ).

Never really played a *band mage before... very first attempt, Fraggle fell through a trap door on his 2nd step on DL1 and died.

@Buzzkill - at least you know you wouldn't have to draw any more terrain tiles. Probably the hardest part would be the many character tiles for all the new race/class combination.

It would be easy to do a first cut, under which (e.g.) a Sprite Berserker would use the existing tile for an Elf Warrior?

I'd like to tackle this too (and then play the comp) but I'll need a windows execuatable that will allow me select the Gervais tileset. 205b disallows it.

I'll just do what I always do. Map the player to the standard player character (human warrior) tile, and put on the shelf. After all, (#) xtra-dvg.prf is outside my jurisdiction. What do I look like, a maintainer?

Right, so actions on me to re-allow 32x32 tiles in a new Quickband version (ASAP), and then to figure out assignments for the .dvg - can we follow the same process as for Ironband?
