    Well, I can't find an error in the code, but that doesn't mean much

    Competition 110 is now officially over - congratulations to ewan for an impressive win in difficult circumstances.

    Thanks also to everyone who has played and reported bugs - this has been very helpful to me - and apologies for such a bug-ridden competition.

    The chest trap thing has me completely beaten - there should be no way for that to happen - unless it is a memory corruption issue, which I'm getting increasingly suspicious it is.

    It's just possible that one or two problems may be caused by the savefile, but most of the bugs I have now found and fixed. It isn't too strange that no-one was reporting 1.2 bugs before, because not many people were playing 1.2, because it was too buggy...

    My knowledge about programming is limited to a game of Light Bot, but could it be that the savefile is causing this trouble? After all, it is strange that several obvious bugs only got reported after the competition had started.

    Actually, that's the way it's always been - traps are only sprung after you unlock the chest. It just means you forgot to disarm it first

    The flags get relearned once you're exposed to the relevant threat, that's why they are showing in the latest dump. Arin14's dump, at the bottom of the ladder, shows the Noldor weapon without the appropriate flags.

    I'd like to provide more info, but I'm kinda afraid to save/load.
