Finally, competition 92 is available from the competition page; it is an Ironband Half-Troll.

Rebooting seemed to resolve it for me. It could be that some other version of *band locked a resource it needs as I hadn't rebooted in weeks.

There is a (in development) 32x32 tileset for Ironband. Follow the link in my sig if you're interested. IIRC some terrains looks similar (it's been a while). Feedback appreciated.

EDIT: Taking a look at it, there is a dithering problem. I hope it's not too annoying. I'll clean it up at some point. Live and learn.

I really want to play this comp, but I can't shelve my best characters ever, and I can't play two games at once.

Buzz, I used your downloads for Ironband and they work pretty well. I did make a couple changes in the pref file for granite and permanent wall since they were displaying incorrectly. Granite displayed as permanent wall and permanent wall displayed as cactuses.

I removed the dithering (noise) form the 32x32.bmp and packaged all the files into a single zip. Now available at the usual place. I've made no other changes at this point, but almost all tiles should appear sharper and cleaner than before.

@JungleBoy: Send me the prf when you're done with it. Feel free to make more changes if you find them to be necessary. I'll PM you my email.

I do actually have the same problem myself. Grateful for any resolution from the NPP guys. Yes, rebooting seems to work (or sometimes opening the task manager in Windows, killing the angband.exe process and trying again).

Vault items

I think I've noticed fire ants in a vault dropping items generated in 8/9 spots. The items though say found lying on the floor. Is this an NPP/Iron thing?

In npp vault items are carried by vault creatures. Even those that have no drop usually. Don't know about iron, but probably this is the case.
