So I killed off my absolutely perfect @ who was sailing effortlessly towards victory when he failed to TO a Werewolf of Sauron and it breathed something deadly. That @ had everything: Careth Asdriag, cap of seeing and Gorlim swap for extra damage. 8 scrolls of Teleportation, 40 ?phase door, 39 !CSW and 30 !CCW. 3 wands of TO. Dwarven armor, resistance shield, but hubris got the better of him; the halo of good luck clouded his judgment, and when he was suddenly standing face to face with the werewolf of Sauron, instead of ?phasing and positioning favorably while using _Detect Evil to TO him more safely, he tried TO right there and failed and died.

So I roll up another HT Warrior. I pick up "trickery and then literally spend the rest of the game dying. For some reason I didn't realize how out of depth I was (though having just read a deep descent should have given me some clue). Also, not my first rodeo.
The video effectively starts at 10:59. Things start to get interesting at 13:47 and The Titanic starts sinking shortly thereafter. I fat-finger fumble a battle with a blackguard at some point which very well may have cost me the game.
One of the more interesting and somewhat game deciding moments happens at 21:00 when I very nearly kill a blackguard at distance who was giving me great grief. I was unable to finish him off, though and The Titanic kept on sinking.... Good ol' fashion stubbornness on my part combined with mounting frustration at continued lousy luck increased tilt and furthered my steady, ineluctable march towards death.
