Part way through a 1st test run & so far so good. Game still looks too much like V-master which will be the 1st thing I change after the test run, but happy that balance seems to have not been disrupted so far.
Fairly un-eventual run so far: hit stuff, loot stuff, normal warrior early game. Lucky early find of a resistance shield which worries me but was likely luck rather then anything I changed. Was happy to find a mace(+2,+2) & actually use it, bringing my damage to 12 (10 from the starting dagger). Only awkward situation so far was a Crebain/Umber Hulk combo which I got out of with mushroom of terror, some curing consumables & phase door.
Also you'll see in the notes a mimic variety marked. It only just occurred to me that these things leak useful information about scroll/potion flavours.
