I think I read in an old FAQ than a monster can get a double move even when it is slower than the player, but I can't seem to find it anymore. Is it true?
Non-uniques can be up to 20% faster than their description in monster memory. They cannot double-move if they are slower, but they might be faster when you think they are slower.
