After long break, I just died to my old nemesis Kavlax. No ESP, and I forgot that some 'd'-s really are dangerous

Also, I was greedily on my way to pick up second Rod of Light.

Nope, and since it was a new character, I couldn't change the color with monster knowledge the way I usually do.

I've said it a gajillion times, but I really don't understand why he's not a big D. It's pretty rare to have encountered any Ds by ~DL35 or DL40, so it would at least be a pretty significant visual queue that this guy is seriously nasty.

The only reason I survived him the first time was because Timo warned me about 40 times that Kavlax would kill me when I met him lol

I always assumed it was so that there was a 'd' unique. I've always been lucky with him in V, but he got me in NPP.
