Well, I've gotten so many kobold characters killed, I think it's time to list 'em.

All or most of these die the same way... repeatedly attacking monsters in melee without wearing any armour with a class that favours ranged attacks! Use your bow/spellbook/wands, or at least buy some cloak/boots/soft leather for your rangers.

No, I don't kill them on purpose, it's that my strategy of placing mages in melee never works that is the problem!

I admit some of their deaths are funny though.

Kobolds rock. I recommend the Kobold Rogue. It's the stealthiest combination in the game. I had one recently with +9 to stealth from equipment by 2000'- walking around Angband was like a stroll through a garden of statues.
