The dwarf priestess and the hay stacks

A new character sees the dark of the dungeon, Dalia the dwarf priestess.
Going down the stairs, the level identifies as 1-7, so she is not too surprised when the sling lying on the floor of the next room turns out to be:

a Sling of Buckland (x4) (+7,+12) <+2, +6>
Found lying on the floor at 50 feet (level 1)

+2 dexterity.
+6 shooting speed.
+2 shooting power.

Naturally, she progresses quickly through the levels and only adds the second book to her arsenal late, well after level 7.
At clvl 29 she manages to down Lorgan despite lack of any speed boosts, who drops her:

the Heavy Crossbow of Galduath (x7) (+15,+9) <+3>
Dropped by Lorgan, Chief of the Easterlings, at 1750 feet (level
35)

+3 speed.
+3 shooting power.

So she recalled, replacing the sling with the crossbow and

23 Bolts of Frost (1d5) (+6,+9)
Branded with cold.

Combat info:
When fired, hits targets up to 200 feet away.
Average damage/round: 215.7 vs creatures not resistant to cold and
151 vs. others.

Reading a ?deep descent to get down to test her new shiny, she landed in a room with a chest. Opening it, two items popped out:

the Long Bow of Ecthil (x3) (+11,+23) <+3, +5>
Taken from a chest found at 2000 feet (level 40)

+3 intelligence.
+5 constitution.

along with

29 Arrows of Lightning (1d5) (+8,+11)
Branded with lightning.

Combat info:
When fired, hits targets up to 120 feet away.
Average damage/round: 228.4 vs creatures not resistant to
lightning and 114.2 vs. others.

And thats where she still stands, swapping from bow to crossbow and back, unable to decide which one to use.

If she has enough CON at 18/200+, the x7*1.3 (x 9.1 effectively) Galduath crossbow (obviously enchanted up to +15 dam or close, same with ammo) is clearly superior. Assuming she has the Battle Blessing book or will have soon.

Of course spamming Enchant Weapon is a chore - would be nice if you could just cast it once and it would enchant the item up to whatever (possibly level dependent whatever).
