I killed over 6K monsters, and item generation is artifact-happy, so I don't think that was atypical other than my bountiful supply of +att and HA MoDs this game. Grepping the notes says I collected 46 artifacts before the last fight, so it's not surprising I got some powerful ones.

For the most part, those didn't show up until the end. At DL 98 I wasn't fully pleased with how I had to kit to cover sustains and resists. Only +12 speed and con not maxxed, plus one ring slot available for either =Acid or =Speed+9. Barely adequate for M. DL 99 made a big improvement.

I also had an x5 light xbow with ImmElec and +15 dam that I found at DL 31, but I think I didn't find any bolts all game until somewhere around DL 60. So that doesn't count as a real find until DL 60. I blame that on lack of vaults due to small levels, but that's just me being grumpy. OTOH grumpy doesn't mean I'm wrong!

First PB4 was at DL 62, significantly later than usual. I rarely see PB9, but I usually see some MB9, but there were none this game.

The first major artifact I found was the gauntlets at DL 48, but that meant I couldn't really use gauntlets of FA when I found them. That kept me very nervous until DL 60, and I wasn't comfortable until I found the longbow at DL 68.
