Ok, it cost 366k but I have 79 potions of heroism in my pack now. I will quaff them on the stairs down to 100 after killing Sauron. The character dump is attached. My only resist nether is from trident of Ulmo. If I get killed by a nether ball wielding Eonwe, I blame you Pete! I will check back on the forum before I swap weapons at the stairs down to 100. Please say how many HP a nether ball from Morgoth costs!

I found Sauron and started bashing. He summoned then teleported away at 8*. I found him again, bashed again, and he teleported away at 4*. Same thing for 1*. When I finally tracked him down, he was running away from me, not summoning or teleporting. I killed Sauron and got EXACTLY what I needed - the HL armor of Himring with resistance nether! I recalled and wore Himring, dropped MP mail Celeborn, picked up and wielded bow Belthronding, dropped the crossbow Cubragol, wielded the axe Eonwe, dropped the trident Ulmo, dropped bolts, picked up seeker arrows, dropped all but 20 potions heroism, and saved. In 1324 turns since last dump, I gained 72k experience, using potions : 6 heroism, 3 speed, and 3 restore mana. That's it! Now using axe Eonwe, I have a better chance of killing Morgoth. If he's too tough, I will teleport away, go upstairs, and resume scumming for Deathwreaker on 99.

HP978, SP401 (+8), AC162+5 prayer (-29), speed +24 not hasted (-8) at burden 80%, hitting 4@94 against evil (81.5 normal), shooting 2@288 evil (144 normal).

Oh yeah -- and don't give up vs Morgoth: it will take a long time to bash him, so be patient. Just keep duking it out.

15 !restore mana will more than see you through. (Don't carry Staffs or Wands, because Morgoth will drain them and heal. And with 15 !rMana, you won't need them.)

Thanks for the advice! I am bashing on Morgoth now - 3rd hit round and he has not lost an * yet. He summoned the Balrog of Moria ahhahaha. I knew letting that fire breather live would be useful. He then earth quaked the BoM into rock! I am going back to the game now. I will edit update this post as events proceed...

round 75 Morgoth desperate - cast mana storm, knocked me down to 63! Healed to max, playing more carefully now...
round 85 1*... I have done 50 mana point fully heal 22 times now.
round 98 - Morgoth is dead! I have the crown and Grond!

Victory dump is posted - used 2 healing, 6 restore mana, and 2 speed. I restored dexterity 4 times and healed 30. He summoned 12 times and only cast the one mana storm...

Not really, or was it? The next time that somebody tells me that I just need to keep on bashing, I will point to this thread. 100 rounds to kill him is way too many! I was on the verge of teleporting away and recall to scum for a better weapon several times...
