The Death Scythe 'Unbalanced' This is what my munchkin ranger came up with when I combined a Death Scythe with a SoAC. It's not always practical because of the self striking thing but it makes a great swap weapon for lone uniques. Max dmg is around 2.3k for just about everything. I'm guessing I'll pull off well over 1k per round in normal combat. Posted on 7.12.2005 11:59 Comments? On 7.12.2005 13:42 Elliott946@aol.com wrote: Interesting. I had always wondered if you could do that. Looks like it picked up: +2 INT and CON, sustain CON, the activation, and some bonuses to-hit and to-dam. Sure, you'll average over 1k damage/round with it, but with criticals and vorpal hits, you'll probably have individual HITS that do over 1k damage. Just hope that those aren't return blows... The activation is nice too, unless you have those things elsewhere. On 8.12.2005 20:41 misterthird@gmail.com wrote: So far I've been using it carefully but I've still had a couple scares. A couple times I hit myself for 500+ dmg O_O I'm worried I'll see "Your scythe returns to you... You cut deep into yourself! You have cut yourself in half!".
