Ah HA! Playing Nightmare mode and one of the big questions I've had is: what exactly does Nightmare mode do? Well, I just the answer to part of that question, courtesy of the monster memory. Check out the description of Grendel. Does that look like the normal number of hp? Since the game is apparently going to give me the info, I need start probing everything. Btw, Grendel's attacks are normally 5d6. But I could swear that's incorrect--seems like even in normal he does way more than that. Surprisingly (to me) CHM steamrolled Grendel and crew in teh above battle thanks to a potion of speed at Tetsu-geta of Flame. Seen 1772 times. |
