My Artifact I think I'll start doing screen dumps of all the artifacts I create ... You know, ?oArtifact Creation is sort of like ?oAcquirement. Mostly junk :-) However, this is probably the best Diamond Edge artifact I've ever made ... Do I use it against the Serpent?? Well, the Force attribute is a nice 3.5x slay against *all* monsters, provided you have enough mana to run it. I did also get Slay Evil and an extra damage die. It was (+26, +20) before I started too. Not bad, I think I'll try it out for a while and see how it goes ... The quality of the weapon also might factor into how much it costs, since I can't imagine a broken dagger of force would be so expensive :-) The flip side is that I only used 4 potions of Restore Mana to kill the serpent, and I was using about 25% of my mana to cast/recast all the Craft spells, which are far from cheap.
