Never open undisarmed chests in temples... Things-that-should-be-obvious-but-you-never-think-of-them dept. Early on in games of ToME, I'm used to just gritting my teeth and opening chests undisarmed, as long as I'm at full health and there are no monsters around to pound on me if I get paralyzed or whatever. Guess I won't be doing that in temples anymore... Since I didn't get the I'm-really-mad-at-you-now-mortal message, it looks like I got lucky, THIS time... if so, it actually saved me quite a bit of time (it's an Eru temple). It's kind of a funny image... "Hmm, there's something at the bottom of this chest... gotta look a little closer. Crap, it's stuck to the bottom. Mmmmph... YIKES!!!"
