Out-of-Depth Fun Yep. After Dol-Lomin the previous recall, this was a BIG surprise (especially for a level that only felt like "any other level"). The two big surprises were Akhorahil (1200' out of depth! - and safely teleported away before he could kill me horribly), and the 11-headed hydra (1150' out of depth). However, I managed to teleport both away; Akhorahil ended upon the other side of the vault's permanent wall, so that was alright, and I didn't see the hydra again. Everything else (hill giants, angels, a few slightly OoD ogres/trolls) went down to the usual barrage of frost/fireballs, magic missiles and frost bolts. Unfortunately, the loot wasn't that great; no artifacts, no useful potions/rods/staves/wands, and nothing beyond basic slay weapons and resist armour. Oh well!
