Now here's a funny interaction. Samurai get a special counterattack that's different from normal retaliation through either their Counter martial art or their Musou posture. Apparently, this samurai counterattack can trigger monster retaliation, and monster retaliation can trigger samurai counterattacks. This entire screenshot is just one turn. Luckily I have over 300 AC with mousou posture active, so the whole thing ended with Kenshirou dead and me only missing about 120hp. (this is poschengband 5.0.5 still, if it's relevant)
