Destroyed the Zombified Serpent of Chaos After getting ahold of some Scrolls of Mundanity at Angband: L122, I use one of these to get rid of The Spear of Athena and experimented with my ultimate weapon. Then, I why not wield 'Grond' knowing that Morgoth bores through walls anyways. I went for it. Now, back to Angband: L127. Guess what? I encountered not only The Zombified Serpent of Chaos again, but also Morgoth, Tiamat, and Azog to join the foray. And 'Grond' is *seriously awesome* and definitely uber-powerful. Well, once I got the Serpent down to one star or so. I ran into another problem, while on my last remaining charge (1 left) and at out of his AND Morgoth's, and a few charges left on my Healing Staves/Rods, I just remembered to use my Staff of Restore Mana. And when I did, I saw my Staff of Teleport recharged to 7 charges. I used the Staff of Restore Mana again and I was back in business. Then, when the Zombified Serpent of Chaos showed up, I wailed at him with Grond and got him good! Posted on 10.4.2016 19:56 Related character dump: Hugo$oul 8356, L50 Possessor Monster Comments?
