Rubble - mundane screenshot I realize my health is low so monsters would attack me anyway, but even if I had total health they would charge ahead. I have noticed that monsters treat rubble as open grids. It rarely occurs, but monsters that normally avoid 1v1 combat will come at you in these situations. Though I haven't tried it yet, I bet that you could easily create this kind of (abusive?) situation with the appropriate mattock of make rubble. Monsters will pursue you down corridors if: you're sufficiently injured; you're wearing an item of Wrath; they have no friends around; they're dumb (or trolls!); or you trigger their aggressive mode in one of a couple of other ways (it's supposed to trigger if you're doing something abusive, but it might turn out that it's possible to abuse!). In the few times I've seen it, it was usually orcs who would suddenly charge in instead of hanging around the door. Seen 1168 times. |
