Trapped in Sil! I just fell through a trapdoor and am stuck in this little pocket of chambers. I've spammed 'z' next to every single wall-block and can't find a way out! Is my only solution to keep doing more of the same?? Posted on 21.1.2012 17:42 Comments? On 21.1.2012 17:59 Scatha wrote: That's annoying. There are a few possible methods here: - I'm assuming you don't have a mattock or a trumpet of Blasting to dig your way out - A staff of Freedom could also help you here - Putting points into perception will help you to find secret doors. Likewise the Perception ability 'Eye for Detail'. - On the other hand, if your Song is higher than your Perception, Song of Freedom might be able to find it for you (and is effective at longer range, so could be a bit faster) - Finally, some monsters who know where they're going might take a trip to this part of the dungeon. You could just wait, but anything you can do to make noise will make it more likely that something hears you and comes to hunt you down rather than hoping that they happen to have an errand this way. It also makes sure that even if you can't get past rubble, you can get from your starting location to a staircase. The upshot is that there must be a secret door somewhere. As Scatha says, I'd wait for a monster to come, or I'd spend some experience on Perception. Seen 1100 times. |
