Saved by Werewindle! So, I cruise on down to DL36, hoping for my first stat potion, when bam! Ambushed by a mob of gravity hounds. They breath and I am teleported away from the stairs and slowed down to -8 speed. ?Teleport and bam! Pack of Inertia hounds. More slowing. Teleport. Gravity. Bam! Bam! Teleport! Inertia. Teleport ... teleport ... teleport ... teleport ... Gravity ... Inertia ... Gravity ... Inertia! Finally, I got a lucky quake activation from Werewindle that sealed things off, but I had managed to mop quite a few pups along the way.
