Found a pretty good rhythm: !Yeek Caves, then do Angband down to Nar for some gear, a couple quests (particularly the Doom Quest for the fire ring - useful for dragons) then the Dragon's lair to bump me up to clvl 25 for FA and stat pots.

Despite my abysmal to_hit penalties, my combat is pretty solid, so I'm going to let it ride for now.

A side note - it's kind of silly that the fixed quests each have a reward that's incredibly useful... for the quest you just got done completing.

Got into a fight with an ancient bronze dragon. He double moved me and I was a goner. If there's anything I'd like to see stricken from the Heng/Entro legacy, it's the occasional random double moves.
