You have to ready the capture ball in your off hand, that's vaguely how I remember it. Is that correct? And once you capture them with a capture ball, can you unready the ball? Since I think you have to use your off hand for riding.

Basically anybody want to give me some basic facts for riding?

I try to follow the advice I read about getting a 4 headed hydra.

I go to marshland, there is Scylla with a ton of escorts 5-headed and whatever, a lot of green ones. So I'm on a young dragon, white I think. Instantly one of them breathed and knocked me off my mount away from the edge of the zone.

I try to escape, move next to the exit of the zone, I get breathed on about 10 times and die. Sigh.
