Anyway, not much decent kit yet - just got Rohirrim as a quest reward - and no speed items, which is starting to hurt. Now on a hydra quest, so swapped in the katana which is my nly source of RPois. We'll see.

The katana does more damage, even without the rarely resisted acid brand.

With rbase safely covered on the armor you should only put this thing on again if you accidently destroy your armor with curse armor scroll o_0

Another thing: Carry at least one source of increase hit rating, better yet carry both holy chant scrolls and heroism potions if available, the 20 hit help a lot.

You might also consider giving up the Hydra Quest. In a stronghold there are usually at least some ood creatures, and teleporting is not an option. You also don't have any item to get away, so without tele level/ *destruction* so first hydra with more than 8 heads will likely be lethal for you :)
So it might be wise to give it up before they destroy half your inventory before you realize you cannot kill the harder ones

Never actually needed any of the healing stuff I toted down - you can see in the dump, though, the remnants of my stacks of Holy Chant, Heroism, Berserk and so on.
