One of a series of characters intended to simulate inhabitants of Tolkien's Arda (Middle Earth and Valinor). Emphasis on ego items and artifacts from Arda, or items that are consistent with Tolkien's writings and not linked to another mythology or legendarium. The Greek, Egyptian, and Hindu pantheons are turned off. The game requires one active pantheon, and Norse is most consistent. Japanese weapons and armors are ignored or sold for gold. Pokemon-stye capture balls are not used. "Silly" items are ignored or sold. Use of good items by evil races (and vice versa) is limited and considered on a case by case basis. Sometimes trophy items are kept at home and not used. These first four characters were all taken up to CL 30 before posting, following a similar route from Outpost to Morivant to Anambar to Thalos, and progressing in the Thalos Arena up to Barney the Dinosaur. All four are "Monster" characters but I plan to start some normal race/class characters next, starting with a Naugrim Smith.
