Been a while since I've played Edains so here's one. Took a few games but I think I'm getting the hang of it. You're basically behind the power curve in terms of every stat, so need some way to make up the difference, either by choosing fights carefully via stealth, having lower will or perception so you can dump more into combat, or getting skills that give you raw stats like dodging/flanking combo or power. Axes and swords don't matter to Edains, and this one actually did as well as he did mostly because of an extra sided dice battle axe I found. And you don't even need much loot luck to survive. This one didn't find anything especially useful until Finrod on 450 feet, by which point he was already cruising along.

The biggest thing to watch out for is the low health. Unlike the other races, the game probably doesn't get as much easier as it goes on, since all the enemies late game are heavy hitters. You could nullify them partially with evasion like through Finrod, but dragon breath will ignore evasion. So...probably will skip dragons or lure them out of their lairs to get to their hoard until I have at least 5 constitution.

Miracle I didn't fall into any false floors this game considering I've only had radius 1 light.

If someone has had success with 1-2 dice weapons on 2 strength builds early game, I'd love to hear about it. I find I can't break through enemy protection most of the time so I have to use more inaccurate, heavy hitting weapons.

Linked screenshot above of the vault of big men is where I found Finrod.
