Miskeyed and got surrounded by pitch black. I knew one of the enemies was a lurking horror but I had no idea what the other thing was until after I died. "It batters you. You are covered with frost!" Thought it might've been a frost serpent.

Definitely played too carelessly there.

I should start a tally of what I get killed by. If I had to guess, number 1 reason is insufficient light and making wrong decisions with insufficient information. Nothing kills you faster than underestimating enemy numbers or not knowing their positions, getting surrounded, and halving your evasion halved. Number 2 might be hitting rauko depth without rCold or rFire. Number 3 running around with half health trying to save turns instead of resting and getting punished. Don't think I actually die all that often to just not having enough stats.
