Too bad the charm abilities you can get are limited to such a narrow band of monsters or I think they could have been quite good.

My first attempt at Fu Manchu went quite poorly, getting blinded constantly and summoned on and taking huge damage ether storms. Second time I bought the gamma eye steamware which gives rBlind and equipped the cloak of Nemo so it went fine that time.
