Since there is no song of slaying in this variant, I decided to walk over to the secret passage and camp with a light source in case there were lots of amethyst serpents. In this fork Morgoth has "phases" where he becomes more powerful as his HP goes down. I didn't know what to expect here, but I figured that I would want as much space as possible to maneuver, so I dug out a big area around the bottom of the throne room. I turned on rapid attack and flank danced him like I do in normal Sil, and it worked, except a lot worse, and I managed not to die. In his "desperate" phase Morgoth's attack is VERY high, he was hitting me quite often even with 35 effective evasion. I got lucky here, but I feel like you can get trapped healing, Morgoth will recover his HP, and you won't be able to turn the momentum around, so you'd have to cut a sil and bail out. Fortunately I got lucky here because I have a frost branded sharp sword.

Very happy that you enjoyed the run and liked the changes. I've merged a number of the mpa-sil tweaks, but have also hung back on several which I thought weakened the game's aesthetic to save experts from book-keeping. Looking up enemies without a perception ability might be justifiable though. Are there any others you'd note as especially helpful?
