From the sixth day of the competition, this character used the amulet of Tinfang Gelion to follow basically exactly the same sort of build as the previous day (the one with Halmir), and so bore a similar name. It alternated between being very quick and extremely tedious; either putting things to sleep and stabbing them or failing to put things to sleep and running or going through various desperation dances (quaffing potions, eating herbs, wearing armour in the middle of combat, attacking without the benefit of stealth after running out of options).

It took me quite a bit of time to get the hang of a mostly stealthy character, but that's because it also tried to kill things at every opportunity, thus adding the difficulty of judging each creature type and group of creatures from a different perspective. It had been a long time since I played a character that cared about different creature's Perception scores at all, although I was at least familiar with various creatures Will from my Master Smith.

Near the end, there had been a few different potential deaths; not being able to deal with Easterling Spies (likely as intended), being forced to use a chasm at potentially insufficient Health, having no resistances and one of said spies keeping Ringrauko awake, discovering that in the hit-or-miss fights with Shadows there could be a /lot/ of miss, walking into a room of werewolves with a spy that shouted (only luck preventing them from becoming sufficiently awake), and attempting to stab a Shadow Spider that roll high for Health.

What eventually got me though, was my own decision; I could have waited until a Kemenrauko was out of the way before putting it to sleep, but instead was impatient to test the weapon I knew was Nargothrond and didn't pay enough attention to its positioning.

The nearby werewolves that had just come down the stairs probably didn't help either; the Kemen could have gone to sleep, otherwise.

Note: There were more than a dozen instances of this character, and they generally died to wargs, Balcmeg and Lug, or crebain.
